Possible cure for sudden sensorineural hearing loss is here

If the onset of my left ear sudden hearing loss is now , rather than in Jan 2010, I guess I am home.

Any way, I find comfort for my right ear and for the rest of the world, that a possible cure for sudden hearing loss is here* (just google and you can find).

The other posible cure now is strong dose of steriods immediately into the inner ear

Auris Medical completes enrolment in first cohort of phase IIb study with AM-111

Auris Medical announced today that enrolment has been completed for the first of two dose cohorts in its phase IIb clinical trial with AM-111 for the treatment of acute sensorineural hearing loss (ASNHL). A total of 105 patients were enrolled in the study and received either AM-111 at 2.0 mg/ml or placebo in a single dose intratympanic injection at a ratio of 2:1. The study recruited patients who showed up for treatment within 48 hours from ASNHL onset and whose hearing loss amounted to at least 30 dB in 3 contiguous frequencies. Auris Medical is planning to proceed to the second dose cohort shortly.
